Kairos Was Featured in an AI for Productivity Course: Here’s What We Learned

Kairos was recently featured in AI for Productivity in Business (a very cool moment for us!). A course by Canada’s Ocean Supercluster designed to help executives use AI effectively, not just as a buzzword, but as a real driver of productivity.

It revealed a common challenge: AI implementation isn’t just about picking the right tools, it’s about making those changes stick. Without a clear strategy, AI adoption becomes a temporary experiment, rather than a long-term advantage.

Organizations are beginning to realize the consequences of strategy-less AI. A recent study observed a retail company’s use of AI for creating organizational charts. It sounds like a task easy enough to automate, right? While the AI produced better solutions, those results didn’t translate IRL. This is because humans break work into small, clear tasks while the AI works better when looking at the whole picture.

As algorithms find their way into our workplaces, organizations need to reflect the contours of those algorithms’ behaviours. Which is why think courses like AI for Productivity in Business are going to be increasingly important in the next 5 years.

AI Can’t Just Be About Cutting Costs

Another major revelation? Most companies approach AI as a cost-cutting tool first. But AI’s real value isn’t just in automation. It is in helping people do their best work.

That’s where businesses get stuck. They recognize AI’s potential but struggle with implementation - which isn’t unique to AI - it happens with any major company shift. If there’s no clear strategy, no reinforcement, and no buy-in, new tools and systems quickly fall by the wayside.

Practical AI for Real Teams

This is exactly why Kairos exists. We don’t just talk about AI in theory, we make it work for real teams. Our AI-powered meeting solutions help companies reclaim time and run better meetings without adding more chaos to their workflows. We focus on implementation strategies that stick, making it easier to form better meeting habits and reduce wasted time.

As Ines Andersen from The Grow-Op put it, the power of AI isn’t in letting it think for us - it’s in using it to level up our own thinking. The businesses that get this right won’t just adopt AI; they’ll use it to work smarter.

If your company is navigating AI adoption, the key question isn’t “What AI tools should we use?” It’s “How do we make AI work in a way that actually sticks?

At Kairos, that’s what we’re here to help with. Let’s talk.
